The Batavia-type lettuce has rippled, wavy leaves, of a light green or chestnut-type red colour, with an easy, neutral taste.

Lollo salad is a variety of lettuce created in the 60s, characterized by small, hemispherically shaped tufts: its name comes from the actress Gina Lollobrigida, considered the most beautiful woman in the world at that time.

Romaine lettuce can be distinguished by its voluminous head and rustic taste. Thanks to its exceptionally low caloric value, given that it is mainly composed of water, it is suitable for all diets; because of its high fibre content, it also promotes the regularization of intestinal function. Its share of carotenoids, iron, potassium, vitamin A, B2 and C, with high antioxidant capacities contribute significantly to maintaining good health.

Spinach is a herbaceous plant with an annual cycle, thanks to its high resistance to parasite attacks. It is a variety of spinach, with small, robust but tender and fleshy leaves, bright green in colour. Taste-wise, it's fresh, delicate and yet also sharp, whilst nutrition-wise, it has a number of important nutritional qualities, contributing to the intake of iron, magnesium, calcium and folacin (vitamin B9). Due to its high water content (over 90%) it is an excellent diuretic and a low-calorie food.
