‘La Maggiolina’ Association of Producers (OP) has a ‘Whistleblowing’ reporting channel, managed in accordance with national and European regulation. The portal adheres to the requirements established by the Italian National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC), and guarantees that anyone can make a report, even in complete anonymity.
The whistleblower can always track the progress of their report, via a web page and the key code generated with the report itself.
‘Whistleblowing’ is regulated by European Directive (EU) 2019/1937 and concerns “the protection of individuals who report violations of EU law and national regulation provisions”.
Recently recognised in Italian law by Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023, it has been implemented to safeguard those who wish to report unlawful activities they have become aware of within a company (or public entity), allowing them to do so completely anonymously, without fear of repercussions or retaliations.
All conduct detrimental to the interests of the company or its management can be reported, for example:
Mere suspicions.
Personal grievances.
Claims regarding one’s own working relationship or collaboration with the company.
